Work done for improving accessibility

The 8 months of work in the Musée de la Vie Romantique have improved access to the site on the following counts:

  • widening the access to the courtyard and the newly laid-out garden,

  • repaving (using the original paving stones) to maintain the authentic feel of the place

  • installation of an elevator to provide access to the temporary exhibition areas.

All this work will make it easier for everyone to visit the museum's collections and this fascinating venue in the best possible conditions.

A beautiful rose for the Tea Room

The tea room, which is highly prized by visitors, will now be managed by the famous English pâtisserie: Rose Bakery.

Rose Bakery is already a proven success with Parisians in the 9th arrondissement and the Marais ; they will be serving cakes, teas and salads in the garden of the Musée de la Vie Romantique.
