Bijoux Parisiens - French Jewelry from the Petit Palais
The exhibition Bijoux Parisiens tells the story of dozens of talented artists, designers, and entrepreneurs, working with the most precious materials on earth and creating extraordinary pieces of art. It showcases the development and transformation of French jewelry design from Napoleonic Neoclassicism, through many changes, until the Art Deco period. It outlines the key exhibitions, events, and influences that made so many interesting careers and helped establish the great Parisian Houses that are today household names – Cartier, Lalique, Van Cleef & Arpels, Boucheron, and more.
